My kids loved this experiment. I have a five year old home schooler and an eleven year old who really got a kick out of making slime. There was enough for each of them to make a container of icky ooze. The kit also came with a fun activity booklet and adventure guide. The kids were fascinated to learn about the different types of slime molds and Non-Newtonian fluids. They then spent the rest of the afternoon playing with their slime. This was definitely a successful science experiment. I love that my five year old was able to do her own experiment along side my eleven year old and they were equally enthralled with it. This is a great science experiment and would make a great addition to a unit on molds.

Fun for home-schoolers or the entire family! I was asked to do a test and review of this Excavation kit and to give my honest opinion of the results. My kids loved digging through the giant beetle to look for bugs. My four year old enlisted her daddy's help when it was her turn to dig. My eleven year old demonstrated great perseverance in his digging and enjoyed learning more about insects while he was waiting for his turn to come around again. My nineteen year old with special needs even got into the digging efforts. All in all it was definitely fun for the entire family and I would recommend it as something fun to do on a family game night if you are tired of board games and want something new.
